Choose Joe Lamanna for NYS Assembly 

Ugh! Election time again. Door hangers, phone calls, posters, fliers, speeches etc. How many people really enjoy this process?

And yet, it is one of the most important elements of living in a democracy. We, the people, have the opportunity to choose who will advocate for our needs and interests, who will work to solve our problems, and who will ensure that we have a seat at the table. Because of the chaos and dysfunction of the federal government it has never been more critical to chose state representatives who will serve their constituents well.

The candidate who best fulfills that role is Joe Lamanna. Joe is not a career politician; however, his years of union leadership and business expertise have given him the skillsto negotiate on our behalf. His service on various town boards is demonstrative of his engagement with local civic issues. A member of the volunteerfire department, he “walks the talk” of valuing community service. Joe is smart, dedicated, and authentic. He talks TO people, not AT them. He hears and understands the concerns of the people of the 130th Assembly District and is determined to bring our voice to Albany, make them listen, and make them respond to our challenges: the cost of living; public safety; jobs, economic growth, small business support; access to healthcare; infrastructure. Vote for Lamanna in Primary, June 23 

Joe Lamanna is truly the best candidate for Assembly District 130. Not only because he’s a nice guy, and he is, but for a litany of sensible reasons.

His work experience as a manager and problem solver in manufacturing; his leadership skills as a union steward and president representing 250+ professionals in Albany and Washington D.C.; his educational background with engineering and political science degrees as well as an MBA; and his public service as a Williamson Planning Board member, Chairman on the Board of Assessment Review, and a Volunteer Firefighter all contribute to the skills he’ll take to Albany on our behalf. He says he’s a do-er and not a politician.

However, it’s his adept listening skills that I have witnessed that are what I believe he brings to the table which are an essential quality in a successful assemblyman. Joe listens and hears our concerns. He understands

our frustrations at Albany’s blind eye to our district’s needs. And, Joe will not only bring our voices to be heard in Albany but then do the work necessary with everyone at the table to find common ground and secure viable solutions that will serve and benefit this district.

District 130 need not be an Albany afterthought. Joe Lamanna brings experience, integrity, honesty, and clear minded sensibility that can make the difference in all of our daily lives. With his leadership security for and hope in a brighter future for each of us is possible.

Vote Lamanna because our lives depend on it

Vote like your life depends on it, because it does.

That was what came to mind two years ago when I became involved in the Williamson Democratic Committee. After moving from Massachusetts, I felt like many other Democrats in Wayne County have felt; that I was the only one in this very red area.

Seeking out others who felt a strong belief in our rights as Americans and in the Constitution was difficult at first. As I approached others and made connections, it became clear that we were here in numbers and stronger than believed.

In the last two years, working on different campaigns, I found a group that was small but growing. Involvement and passion were contagious.

One of the many committed, hard-working people is Joseph Lamanna, a Williamson resident running for New York State Assembly District 130.
